Nashville Prevention Partnership will have an awards dinner and fundraiser on November 1, 2011. This fundraiser will benefit NPP as its seeks to continue its mission to bring individuals and/organizations together to reduce substance abuse in Nashville.   

NPP would like to recognize people and/organizations who have made considerable contributions to the field of preventing and/or reducing substance abuse in Nashville.  Although people who choose this career path do not expect recognition or reward for their work, their work impacts the Nashville community. Please consider nominating individuals/groups for the following awards:

Volunteer of the Year Award - This award will go to the nominee who has given time, energy, and resources to making significant contributions which prevent and/or reduce substance abuse in Nashville.   

Youth Leadership Award - This award will go to a young nominee, age 12 to 24, who has taken the initiative to inspire peers and/or the community of Nashville to address challenging issues related to substance abuse in Nashville.

Coalition Spirit of Partnership Award - This award will go to the group exhibiting the best example of collaboration with the purpose of preventing/reducing substance abuse and in Nashville.  The results and accomplishments of this collaboration would not have been possible by any one individual or organization.

Prevention Employee of the Year Award - This award will go to the nominee who has made meaningful contributions to prevent and/or reduce substance abuse in Nashville.  The nominee should have worked at least five years in the field and should have at least one recommendation from a current or former employee. 

Lifetime Achievement Award - This award will go to the distinguished nominee who has made significant achievements to the field of substance abuse prevention over a span of years.  Nominees considered for this award will demonstrate at least a decade of commitment as well as leadership at the local, state, and/or national level that has benefited the Nashville community.
