NPP is committed to providing an avenue to allow citizens, youth, clergy, and other members of Nashville to voice opinions, concerns, and interests. More importantly we have found that community gatherings of this type help mobilize concerned Nashvillians to take action! Periodically, we host town hall meetings and community forums to ensure that your voices are heard and to engage the community in dialogue, planning and action. The topics usually range from drug and alcohol issues to school safety, and economic, educational, and health disparities.
NPP has hosted meetings at places like the Gibson Showplace at Opry Mills, Glencliff High School and Mt Bethel Church, Mt Zion Baptist Church (lead by Overcomers Ministry), and West End Church of Christ (lead by ADC ). Additionally we have supported other town hall meetings and community forums in the city. Please contact us if you would like assistance in conducting a town hall meeting.
