Shirley Atnip- Neighborhood Representative, Retired Teacher-Chairperson A lifelong resident of Nashville, Shirley has had a successful career in the Metro Nashville Public School system from 1969 to1998. She was named Nashville Middle School Association's Educator of the Year in 1990 and was recognized as McMurray Middle School Teacher of the Year in 1998. Shirley has been a member of Tusculum Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 49 years and is involved in a variety of community activities through the Crieve Hall Neighborhood Association. She is currently employed at the National Office of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Commander Bob Nash- Metro Nashville Police Department- Past Chairperson Bob joined the MNPD in 1978 and currently serves as the Commander of the East Precinct. He previously headed up the department's Strategic Develop Division. The Strategic Development Division oversees the MNPD's grant programs, policy development, crime analysis, national accreditation, and research. Commander Nash has served as Commissioner for the Tennessee Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission, and the Metropolitan Employee Benefit Board. He currently services as a board member on the Tennessee Sex Offender Treatment Board, Street Works, and the Nashville Prevention Partnership. Commander Nash lives in Nashville with his wife Barbara. They are the proud parents of three children - Amanda, Andrew, and Diane.

Dr. Judy Freudenthal- Oasis Center Dr. Judy Freudenthal is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 25 years experience in working with youth and families, and directs Oasis Center's prevention services. She attended Metro Nashville Public Schools, received her doctorate in Human Development Counseling at Vanderbilt University and is a respected trainer in the field. Under her leadership, Oasis Center was designated as a Model Prevention Program in Tennessee through the Southeastern Center for the Application of Prevention Technology. The Oasis Across Ages Program was awarded the Innovation Program of the Year by the Tennessee Association of Homes for the Aging, and Judy was named the 2002 Prevention Professional of the Year for Middle Tennessee by the Tennessee Department of Health. She serves on numerous community and statewide committees, and is on the board of Homework Hotline. Judy also is a Vanderbilt Adjunct Professor, teaching multiculturalism and diversity to graduate counseling students.

Jeremy Jennings Anne-Marshall-Chalmers- Freelance Reporter Mrs. Marhsall-Chalmers moved to Nashville in 2006 from Louisville, KY. She is originally from Oakland, CA. She works as a freelance reporter in Nashville and has been a journalist for ten years, winning three regional Emmys, and most recently two AP awards for her work with Nashville Public Radio. Currently she is working on completing her MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing. In her spare time she likes to run, read, write and explore the Southeast with her husband, Casey Chalmers. She hopes that her experience in media and communications will help bring strength and awareness to NPP's important message. Since coming to Nashville, she has volunteered for the YWCA in their Weaver Domestic Violence Center and has also worked with their public relations board.
Rev. Tina Mitchell- Evangelism/Outreach Pastor for Trevecca Community Church (TCC) of the Nazarene and Executive Director of CrossBRIDGE,Inc. Rev. Mitchell completed ministerial studies in 2002 and was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene that same year. While traveling the world for 20 years with her Air Force husband, she served many years as a Children's Pastor before beginning her service at TCC. She leads all outreach ministries for this church of 1,000 including jail, reentry and recovery ministries. The jail ministries of TCC reach over 200 offenders every week. As a result of the outreach in the jail, over 100 ex-offenders attend TCC and participate in recovery classes. In 2006, Tina received professional certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and completed training as an Offender Workforce Development Specialist (OWDS). She completed OWDS Instructor training in 2008. The ministries Tina leads have been featured on television on The 700 Club, Hope for the City, local news broadcasts, and written about in The Tennessean newspaper, Outreach, GROW and Holiness Today magazines. TCC's recovery programs were the highlighted Access-To-Recovery agency for the Bush Administration's White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives-Innovations In Compassion Report. Tina serves with the Tennessee Re-Entry Collaborative, is a team member for the Tennessee Offender Workforce Development Initiative and serves on the board for Recovery Community Inc. Tina is married and has 3 daughters, one son-in-law, and 3 grand-dogs. Tina and her family live in Franklin, Tennessee.
Pearl Ridgely-Hopson- InSight Development Strategies Ms. Hopson is the President and Senior Consultant for InSight Development Strategies (IDS), a performance consulting and training organization that provides quality learning resources and services to assist organizations in their human performance improvement initiatives. She has a passion for community service and was honored for being one of "50 Women Who Make a Difference" by her peers in the Memphis Women News of the Mid-South. In 2002 she received the American Society of Training Development Golden Torch Award for her leadership and outstanding services in training and development for non-profit organizations in Nashville.
Terry White-Belmont University Mr. White currently serves as the Director of Campus Security at Belmont University. After graduating from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, he served as a member of the Gainesville, Georgia Police Department for twenty three years. He joins the NPP advisory board because of his interest in underage drinking issues on college campuses. His hobbies include motorcycling and golf. CAPT. Linda Williams- Tennessee National Guard Counterdrug Taskforce Capt Williams is currently employed by the Tennessee National Guard Counterdrug Taskforce as the Drug Demand Reduction Administrator. The Drug Demand Reduction Administrator (DDRA) is the principal staff officer for all matters concerning civil and military drug demand reduction operations. The DDRA, working with civil-military leaders, identifies the drug threat, provides input for a statewide drug demand reduction strategy, and identifies National Guard resources available to support federal, state, and local agencies. The DDRA provides oversight for TN-CD personnel, equipment and operations, providing integrated support to community organizations that are conducting drug demand reduction operations within the state. The DDRA advises the Director of Counter Drug on all matters as they relate to drug demand operations. Capt Williams is currently assigned to the 118th Medial Group, Nashville Tennessee as the Medical Service Administrator to the Mobile Air Staging Facility (MASF). Captain Williams has a BA of Arts from Trevecca University and an Associates of Nursing from Tennessee State University.
