DeWayne Holman, MPA- Executive Director

Mr. Holman is the Executive Director of the Nashville Prevention Partnership (NPP), a community anti-drug coalition and is a 2002 Robert Wood Johnson Fellow in the Developing Leadership in Reducing Substance Abuse Program. Holman has also worked as a Community Organizer for the Neighborhood Resource Center and has coordinated a school-based prevention program. In 1997, he was appointed the Youth Engaged in Service (YES) Ambassador for the state of Tennessee where he encouraged young people to become leaders and resources in their community. Holman was awarded the Minority Access to Research Careers Scholarship at Tennessee State University and the Graduate Minority Health Careers Institute Internship at Pennsylvania State University. He graduated from Tennessee State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and was inducted into Psi Chi Honor Society for academic excellence. Holman went on to earn a Master of Public Administration from Tennessee State University and a Certificate for Public Health Planning and Administration. He was also inducted into the Phi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Public Administration for academic excellence. He is married to Trisha and has two daughters, Marissa and Rachel.


 Marsha Wilson-Community Outreach Coordinator 

 Marsha Wilson is a Community Outreach Coordinator at the Nashville Prevention Partnership (NPP). She is responsible for many tasks which include coordinating community collaborative projects, managing partnership meetings and serving as a coordinator for the ”Bridges Program” which creates neighborhood-based school and community partnerships. Its primary goal is to reduce alcohol and drug abuse for students at high risk.
In 2004-2006 Marsha was appointed by Governor Phil Bredesen to serve as a Council Member for the State of Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities, representing the Antioch, TN area. She is also a 2004 graduate of the Partner in Policymaking TM Leadership Institute. Marsha is the Founder of “The Overcomers Ministry, Inc.” She graduated from Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Inter-Disciplinary Studies with a Minor in Psychology. She is currently working on her Masters of Special Education. She was also inducted into the National Association of Black Psychologists. Ms. Wilson is married to Robert and has two children, Tremaine and Robert II.
